Sharm El Sheikh was formerly a port but it is now a major tourism and leisure destination for both locals and foreigners. And the main reason why the city is so attractive is its access to long beaches.

Moreover, it has a beautiful landscape and a relatively warm weather. Sharm El-Sheikh is also a loved destination for water activities adepts because of its calm waters. The huge underwater bio-diversity of the area, plus its clear waters makes it a perfect destination for scuba diving and snorkeling.

Watamu beach also has some of the best corals in the region, reason why it is a great place for snorkeling or diving. It is actually a very beautiful beach, covered with white and soft sand. Its clean and turquoise waters make it a paradise for tourists and locals, going there to enjoy the beach ambiance. 

Nungwi beach is great for swimming or practicing activities such as jetski. It is a nice place to visit if you want to have fun because there are a lot of bars and restaurants, and the people are friendly. The area counts multiple resorts and hotels and is easily accessible.

Camps Bay Beach is located in Cape town. It is a famous destination  in South Africa, especially in summer. Camps Bay is actually a long and deep beach, with rocks along its coastline. The beach is covered with white sand and the water is clean but cold sometimes.

It is a great place to walk around, notably at sunset. Just sitting there and enjoying the view is very gratifying but you can also swim or have other fun activities.

Moreover, there are plenty of trendy restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, Airbnbs and shops available within a walking distance from the beach. All these assets make it a great place to go for a summer vacation.

7- BOJO BEACH, GHANA

Bojo beach is situated at the delta of the Densu River and the Atlantic Ocean, in the south-eastern part of Ghana. It is accessible via a short boat ride across the Densu River. Once you get there, you can enjoy a quiet, less crowded and comfortable beach, especially on weekdays.

The weekends on the contrary are quite animated, with music and more people coming to have a good time. The water is clean and warm, and the waves are beautiful. Swimming is allowed within a certain area which is regulated by the life guards.

The only downside is that you can’t bring your own food or drinks. Nevertheless, there is a bar on the beach where you can get some drinks and also a restaurant where you can get food.
