The Giza pyramid complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site where the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkoure and the Great Sphinx of Giza are located. The pyramids were built between 2686-2181 BC. The site is situated at the edges of the Western Desert in the city of Giza.

Islamic Cairo, also called Historic Cairo or Medieval Cairo, refers to the historic areas of Cairo, Egypt that existed before the city’s modern expansion during the 19th and 20th centuries, particularly the central parts around the old walled city and around the Citadel of Cairo. This place features the historic architecture in the Islamic world. There are a lot of mosques in the area. The islamic Cairo was added to the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage sites in 1979.

The Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, in Cairo, Egypt, is a historical museum which contains a  collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It was built in 1901 and it is the largest museum in the region. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities.

The Siwa Oasis is an urban oasis in Egypt between the Qattara Depression and the Great Sand Sea in the Western Desert. It is one of Egypt’s most isolated settlements with about 33,000 people, Essentially Berbers, who developed a particular desert culture and a distinct dialect different from the other dialects, called Siwi. It is the ruins of the ancient home of an oracle of Ammon that make the oasis a popular tourist attraction.

Saint Catherine’s Monastery, is an Eastern Orthodox monastery located on the Sinai Peninsula, near the town of Saint Catherine, Egypt. The monastery is controlled by the autonomous Church of Sinai, part of the wider Greek Orthodox Church, and is a UNESCO world heritage site. The monastery was built between 548 and 565 and it is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world.

The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak is a set of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor, in Egypt. Construction at the complex began around 2000-1700 BC and continued until 305 – 30 BC but most of the extant buildings date from 1550-712 BC. The complex is a vast open site and includes the Karnak Open Air Museum. It is the second most visited historical site in Egypt.

ABU SIMBEL TEMPLES

The Abu Simbel temples are two rock temples at Abu Simbel, a village in Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt. The complex is part of the UNESCO world heritage site known as the “Nubian Monuments”. The temples were originally carved out of the mountainside in the 13th century BC. They serve as a lasting monument to the king and his queen Nefertari and commemorate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh.

WHITE DESERT NATIONAL PARK

White Desert National Park is a national park in Egypt. A protected area since 2002, it is located in the Farafra depression, 45 km (28 mi) north of the town of Farafra. The park is the site of large white chalk rock formations, created through erosion by wind and sand. It is also the site of cliffs and sand dunes. Certain species of animals can be found there, such as rhim gazelle and dorcas gazelle, barbary sheep, jackals and more.

The city extends about 40 km (25 mi) at the northern coast of Egypt along the Mediterranean Sea. Alexandria is a major tourist destination, and also an important industrial center because of its natural gas and oil pipelines.
