MOUNT KILMANJARO

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It covers an area of 325 km2 (202 sq mi) comprising about 230 km2 (142 sq mi) of lake surface. Over 350 bird species have been recorded on the lake including flamingoes, pelicans, yellow-billed stork, Marabou stork, Ayre’s hawk eagle and more. There are also a huge variety of mammal species.
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Tarangire National Park is a national park in Manyara Region, Tanzania. It got its name from the Tarangire River which is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the dry season. The topography consist of granitic ridges, river valleys, and swamps. The park is popular for its high population of elephants and baobab trees but other species of animals and plants can be found in the area.
SELOUS GAME RESERVE
The Selous Game Reserve is a protected area of over 50,000 km2 (31,068 sq mi) in southern Tanzania. It was inscribed in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 because of its wide diversity of wildlife and its nature. Animals inhabiting the reserve are elephants, black rhinos, hippos, lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and Nile crocodiles. It is a popular tourist attraction.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The Serengeti National Park is a national park located in the Mara and Simiyu regions in Tanzania. It is famous for its annual migration of over a million white-bearded wildebeests and also zebras, Nile crocodiles and honey badger but most famous animals in the park are lions, African leopards, elephants, black rhinos and Cape buffalo. The landscape consists of grassland plains, savanna, riverine forest, and woodlands.
NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha, Tanzania. It got its name from Ngorongoro Crater which is a wide volcanic caldera within the area. The area is home to several shield volcanoes. The northwest section of the conservation area consists of the Serengeti Plains, the Salei Plains, the Oldupai Gorge, and the Gol Mountains inselbergs.
