ANSE INTENDANCE, MAHE
Anse Intendance is a very beautiful beach at the southern corner of Mahe Island, Seychelles. It’s a good place to relax, sun bathe, read, have a drink and enjoy the beach atmosphere. It is covered with white sand beach and has a beautiful turquoise water. The view is just impressive. Best beach on the Seychelles, gorgeous and not crowded.
CURIEUSE ISLAND
Curieuse Island is a small granitic island covering an area of 1.80 sq mi (2.9 km2) in the Seychelles, not far from the north coast of the island of Praslin. Curieuse Island is famous for its red earth intermingled with the particular coco de mer palms, one of the emblematic icons of the archipelago. Curieuse Island is a sanctuary for more than 300 Aldabra giant tortoises.
STE ANNE MARINE NATIONAL PARK
Sainte Anne Marine National Park is located about 5 km (3.10 mi) from Victoria, the capital city of the Seychelles, and comprises eight small islands. it was established in 1973 in order to preserve the archipelago’s wildlife. It is forbidden to fish and water-ski within the Marine Park area. However, Scuba-Diving, boat excursions and snorkeling makes this place an important tourist attraction.
ANSE VOLBERT BEACH
Anse Volbert is a beautiful beach in Seychelles. It is covered with white sandy beach and the water is mostly calm, making it a great place for swimming or just enjoying the warm water. There are a few restaurants along the beach and supermarkets across the road for snacks and beverages. It is ideal for a family hang out.
COUSIN ISLAND
Cousin Island is a small granitic island in the Seychelles, located 2 km (1.2 mi) west of Praslin. It is a protected nature reserve, managed by Nature Seychelles, a national nonprofit organization and Partner of BirdLife International. The island was formerly a coconut plantation that had been stripped of much of its native vegetation.
LA DIGUE ISLAND
La Digue is the third most populated island of the Seychelles and the fourth largest granitic island of Seychelles. It has a population of 2,800 people. It is only accessible by boat and has an area of 10.08 km2 (6.26 mi) which makes it easy to travel around by a walk or a bike ride. The island is popular for its beaches and its economy relies on tourism.
MORNE SEYCHELLOIS NATIONAL PARK
Morne Seychellois is the highest peak in Seychelles. It can be found on the island of Mahe in the Morne Seychellois National park. It is surrounded by nature and the view is pleasant. It is a place to visit if you like adventure.
BEAU VALLON BEACH
Beau Vallon Beach is located on the north western coast of Mahe, in Seychelles. It is well-frequented and might be the most popular beach on the island. It is a wonderful spot for diving and snorkeling because of its clear water and coral reefs. Hotels and restaurants are also available in the area.
VALLEE DE MAI NATIONAL PARK, PRASLIN
Vallée de Mai National Park is a nature park and UNESCO World Heritage Site on the island of Praslin, Seychelles. It consists of a well-preserved palm forest, including the island endemic coco de mer, as well as five other endemic palms. Also specific to the park is its wildlife, which includes birds such as the rare Seychelles black parrot, mammals, crustaceans, snails, and reptiles.
BIRD ISLAND
Bird Island is the northernmost island in the Seychelles archipelago, situated at 100 km (62 mi) from Mahe. The small coral island is known for its birdlife, including sooty terns, fairy terns, common noddies. It is also famous for its population of hawksbill turtles and green turtles. It is now a private resort offering 24 bungalows. There is also a small weather station and a small Airport which connects the island with Mahe.
