LIIDO BEACH SOMALIA
Lido Beach is a beach in Somalia‘s capital, Mogadishu, which overlooks the Somali Sea. After prolonged decades of war and anarchy in the capital, from 1991 the beach fell into disuse and the hotel which was overlooking the coastline has been destroyed by a terrorist attack. But it is experiencing a revival in the last decade and attracting more and more.

Jazeera Beach is a beach on the Somali Sea near the city of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. Several people gather there to relax on weekends as part of Somali seagoing culture. The beach lies just a few kilometers south of the capital and has became a popular place due to the returning diaspora with hotels, restaurants, and the several sea sport activities.

THE MOSQUE OF ISLAMIC SOLIDARITY
The Mosque of Islamic Solidarity is a mosque situated in Mogadishu, Somalia. It was built in 1987 with financial support from the Saudi Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Foundation. It is the main mosque in Somalia’s capital city, and an iconic building in Somali society. The mosque was renovated in 2013 under the funding of Turkiye Diyanet Foundation, a Turkish non-governmental organization.
MIG JET
MIG Jet is a monument featuring a Somali MIG17 that attacked Hargeisa during the civil war. It is an important monument for local people. It stands right where the MIG collapsed to commemorate the pain of the people during the fight. There are good street foods from several vendors located here.
SARYAN MUSEUM
Saryan Museum is a private museum in Hargeisa, Somalia. It is a wonderful museum which is divided in 2 parts. One parts features the regional history and displays old photos while the other parts features rural and nomadic life. It is a great place to visit except that it is forbidden to take photos.
MOGADISHU CATHEDRAL
Mogadishu Cathedral is a ruined Roman Catholic cathedral located in Mogadishu, Somalia. Built in 1928 by Italian colonial authorities, it used to be the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mogadiscio from until 1991. The building was almost totally destroyed in 2008 by al-Shabaab. In 2013, the diocese announced plans to rebuild the building.

Hadful Mosque is a beautiful mosque which can be found in Mogadishu. It is a nice looking mosque with a great architecture.
SHANGHAI OLD CITY
Shanghai old city lies in Mogadishu, Somalia. It was the part of the town for rich Italians during the colonial time. Most buildings are torn down but you can see the beautiful Italian architecture that once existed threre. Some of the buildings are good for renovation and they should be renewed because of the historical value of the site.
THE TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER MOGADISHU
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located in Mogadishu, in the center of the city. It shows an unknown soldier who died in an unknown battle. It is definitely a great spot to take photos and see some locals.
