Morocco is a country located in the Maghreb region of North Africa. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west and shares borders with Algeria and Western Sahara. The capital of the country is Rabat and its largest city is Casablanca. Morocco gained its independence in 1956, after being under French and Spanish protectorates since 1912. It has the fifth largest economy in Africa.

DAKHLA KITESURFING HUB
Dakhla Kitesurfing is situated on the Dakhla peninsula, a 45 km (27.96 mi) long flat water lagoon in the Atlantic Ocean. It can be found on the Western edge of the Western Sahara desert. It is a prized location for kite surfers.
TOUBKAL NATIONAL PARK
Toubkal National Park is a national park in the High Atlas mountain range, 70 km (43 mi) from Marrakesh in central-western Morocco. It is an impressive park established in 1942, covering an area of 380 sq km (236 sq mi) with many marked routes. Inside the park, lies Lake Ifni at 2,300 m (7,545 ft) of altitude along with Jbel Toubkal which is his highest peak rising at 4,167m (13671 ft).
MEKNES
Meknes is one of the four Imperial cities of Morocco, located in the northern central part of the country. It was founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military settlement and it became the capital of Morocco under the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl (1672–1727). He made of Meknes an impressive city in Spanish-Moorish style, surrounded by high walls with great doors.
HIGH ATLAS
High Atlas, also known as the Grand Atlas, is a mountain range in central Morocco, North Africa. It is the highest part of the Atlas Mountains. The area is inhabited by Berbers, who live from agriculture and pastoralism in the valleys.
SAHARA DESERT
The Sahara desert covers an area of around 3,500,000 sq mi in Africa. A part of it can be found in Morocco. There are several tour operators organizing excursions to the desert through camel tours. The dunes are just amazing!
AIT BENHADDOU
Aït Benhaddou is a historic ksar (fortified village) lying on the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in Morocco. It is a magnificent example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture made entirely out of rammed earth, clay bricks, and wood. The ksar was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The site of the ksar has been fortified since the 11th century during the Almoravid period.
SIDI IFNI
Sidi Ifni is a city located in southwest Morocco, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a fishing city with a population of around 20,000 people located in Guelmim-Oued Noun region and Sidi Ifni Province. The city is inhabited by the Shilha from the Ait Baamrane tribe.
ASILAH
Asilah is a fortified town on the northwest of the Atlantic coast of Morocco, about 31 km (19 mi) south of Tangier. The fortifications were built by the Portuguese, but they abandoned it because of an economic debt crisis in 1549. The town of Asilah was partially constructed by the Idrisid dynasty, and Cordoban caliph Al-Hakam II rebuilt the town in 966. The town is home to several annual art festivals.
CHEFCHAOUEN
Chefchaouen, also known as Chaouen, is a city in northwest Morocco. The city is famous for its blue colored buildings. The city was founded in 1471 as a small kasbah (fortress) by Moulay Ali ibn Rashid al-Alami in order to fight the Portuguese invasion of northern Morocco. It is a popular tourist destination because of its proximity to Tangier and the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta.
TINGHIR
Tinghir or Tinerhir is a city in the region of Drâa-Tafilalet, south of the High Atlas in southeastern Morocco. The predominant ethnic group is Amazighs, and the city is at the center of one of the most attractive oasis with palm trees along the Wadi Todgha in southern Morocco.
